In this talk, I shall discuss the existence of Lagrangian periodic tori for families of symplectic twist maps of the d-dimensional annulus and some applications to the rigidity of completely integrable twist maps. This is based on joint work with Marie-Claude Arnaud and Jessica Elisa Massetti.
